Canon 600D or 60D?

I've had my 350D for about 7 years now and it has served well but I have a real urge to move on a notch, mainly for potential image quality and the greater capibility to crop that higher MPs gives.
Also, AF improvements in fast tracking?

What are the major differences between the 600D and 60D apart from ergonomic improvements?
There is about a £250 price difference and not sure if I could justify it.

My two main lenses are Canon 17-40mm F4l and Canon 100-400mm F5.6l
I do a mixture of static stuff, airshows and wildlife, as a rule all outside.

I have never had an issue with the smaller size of the 350D either.

I will go and have a look at both but just wanted some idea of the other differences before I fall for the 60D. I am so used to the smaller format size of the xxxD now I might find it too big and I don't want to find I like the 60d too much!
The £250 saved can be put towards another L lens. Lol
I've spent money on the glass over the years rather than upgrade the body as you have noticed.

Unsure about used as just never 100% what you will end up with. I would actually prefer to get new and maybe slightly compromise on the model. I could afford either if I REALLY feel the extra is worth it.

I also want another lens though to go inbetween my two main ones. I currently have a Sigma 24-70 f2.8 but I have never been happy with the images, especially at the longer end. Wondering about thr Canon 24-70 f4 or 24-105?

I have exactly the same dilema. But also not sure whether to wait for the impending 650D/70D replacements to see what additions they bring. With Nikon releasing their D3200 the other day I'm hoping Canon won't be too far behind with their updates either...

Worse case scenario is that the price of the 600D/60D may fall as a result while resellers try to clear stock...

Any ideas of likely release dates and specs yet?

Well, left it too long before deciding about the Outlet 600ds!
Might wait and if they appear again get one, otherwise see what the 650d or 70d show.
Made the mistake though of reading a 7d review and was impressed by several custom options, especially for the AF.

It's getting on a bit now though so not sure whether it would be money well spent at the moment?
Some rumour is it won't be replaced.

Well, I ended up buying a new 600D.
Considered the other options and even a used FF model, but felt at the moment it gave me the best for the money.
I am sure the extra ergonomics and features of the higher models would be beneficial, but also don't feel as if I have missed anything.
At the end of the day the final result is as much aout me as the camera!!

I really need to get some new inspiration and ideas though!

Would really like to try out full frame out but think I will wait a bit and save quite a bit more too!
