Canon Cashbacks

Im thinking of buying the canon 17-40L lens and just noticed the cash back of £70 on it but am i right in thinking you only get the cash back if you have bought 350D, 30D or 5D and as i only have a 300D i wont get the cash back :confused:

Oh also hase the 20D been discontinued? a well known online camera shop has stoped selling them, was thinking of selling one of my 300D's and getting one guess i cant now lol

I don't think you will.....I got a cashback on that lens when I bought a 20D...don't know about the other cameras.

Your 300d is no longer suplied thanks to the 30D and the 20D is no longer supplied thanks to the 30D

some people might have an old stock of though. just got to ask around

I don't have the link handy (sorry) but you can go on the Canon website and request the voucher booklet - they will send it to you free.

As far as I know, you only need the receipt of the new lens to claim the cashback - i.e. you don't need to prove you have bought a 30D...at least this is how it was explained to me.

I claimed for a flash and only had to send the receipt for the flash and the barcode from the box, nothing from my camera.

Yes, the lens cash back deals apply to a lens only only purchase.
