Canon EF 24-70mm f.28 L

Going to get this lens at some point this week if i have the time. I read a few reviews on this and it seems to be a good walk about lens for the price (which is what i am after). Just wondering what everyone opinion on this is, is there a better or just as good lens for the same price or even less (less is always better

) Getting a new walk about lens to replace the average kit lens with the 350D.

Well i have the battery grip, so that makes a little bigger

But even so i dont want comments on the size of the 350D, i know what its like and find the size just nice.

Ok i am being slow here, wjat do you mean by reduced frame?
