Does anyone know what these cost new and what there worth 2nd at all please?

cant really pick then up new nowadays, second hand can be had for £899, the 1Ds II is about £2k second hand and the 1D IIn is about £1200-1400 second hand.

Youd be lucky to get a good condition one for £899, they tend to sell at £1000.

Place i bought my last 1dmkII from has one now at £899, but it has a fault which would need fixing really(probably £50+ to get it repaired)

You'll be able to get a ragged one for about £900. It's no huge problem if you don't mind the cosmetics as they last forever and are generally bullet proof. About £1000 for one in better condition. The N version is between £1200 - 1400 depending on condition but there are bargains to be had.
