What resolution does the canon eos 400d record at has anyone a sample

Or is it just a stills camera

but could you imagine the life cycle of an SLR if it could record film? at 25 shots a second for 2 mins on average! would be an exspensive investment!

Only stills I'm afraid. Sounds like you need a compact.

I don't know of any D-SLR that can record video.

They use Canon camcorders & some 300mm & 400mm L glass in my college - unfortunately the Photography department uses Nikon, so we can't play with them
