I faced the same dilemma, but I found by shopping around on all the usual e-tailer sites I managed to pick up a set of 8 tanks for my i9950 for around 30 quid. Considering each tank is supposed to be around 8.99, it was a bargain.
some sites had yellow for 2.99, others had black for 2.49. Some even offered free delivery. In fact the cheapest for the yellow happpened to be OCUK! Even with the delivery charges I paid, I still paid around 15 quid less than a full set from Canon, or any other ink supplier.
