Anybody own one of these printers as im thinking of buying one
ifso

What do you think of it ?

Will i need to buy a USB cable for it ?

Are the Ink Carts Chipped ?

Can it be refilled on the cheap ?

Yes, stupidly practically all printers are not supplied with a 50p USB cable :rolleyes:

If it's one of Canons latest printers then YES it will have chipped carts and compats. are probably not yet available!!
You could refill them but need to check that software is available to reset the chips on the carts.

Now i know i need a USB cable i can go and order it.

I lost count of Websites i have looked at trying to find
out and not one gave any idication i would need anything
else before i could use it.

I have owned HP and Epson printers. I now have the older model Canon 4000. It is the best printer I have owned. Fast and excellent quality. So much so the new Canon prices are so good at O/C I had to stop myself buying a newer model :rolleyes:

Ive got a Canon Pixma 4000 and I highly reccomend it. Soetimes it takes a while to warm up, but once its printing it really spits them out at a decent rate. It works really well for Photos as well.
