Canon S3 IS Opinions ?

Well i had to sell my 350d and all the bits that i had gathered for one reason or another and am now looking for a half decent walk around camera.

I say walk-around purely cos i always found the dslr too intrusive to get good candid shots and frequently saw great potential shots whenever i didnt feel like hauling around a bag full of lenses etc !

I`ve read some pretty impressive reviews at the usual places and am very tempted to get one, however i thought i`d see if anyone has any hands on experience with the S3 as that may be the deal breaker for me


So for those who skip to the last line > Do any of you guys have any experience of the S3 or have anything good or bad to say about it ?

Aye the lack of RAW is a my major issue and one of the reasons i was also looking at the Panny FZ30. Looks a decent camera but from all the shots i`ve seen thus far its noisy as heck all through the range

Cant be doin with carrying lenses and stuff round so this should do perfectly for me !
