canon speedlite 540ez

does anyone know if this will work with my 350d??

have trawled through google and cant find a definitive answer.

can anyone help me out here?

I`m sure it says in the manual that its compatible with all Speedlites m8. There`s a section about enhanced features when using Speedlites with the camera, you should see it somewhere there.

it will, but it might not able to use all the functions, what you really want is a EX speedlite, Ez is the older models.

EZ will work, but you will have to set it up manually, ie no E-TTL...

as has been mentioned, it will work but only manually, you need an 'EX' series flash for full compatibility.

think i will see how it goes, if i do use it quite a bit i will upgrade to an ex model.
