Can't acces advance boot options

I have windows 7 64bit and the menu give me a few seconds to press a button but I have tried pressing all of them and they don't do anything ? I am using a USB keyboard any help please

f8 it should be, then up and down arrows to select, then enter.
if ur keyboards not responding try a different usb port or check ur bios settings,

The key is usually 'delete'. F8 gives access to the boot menu, safe mode selection etc. If it doesn't work you may need to reset the CMOS

boot option is f9 for more , if you got make model of your board may be able to tell you what the button is

I keep an old ps2 port KB for emergency when the usb wont work.

Some pc's wont accept usb till windows boots.

With windows 8 on a couple machines I select restart option and hold down the key for bios as the pc closes down and the bios pops up.
