cant access forum direct

i reinstalled vista 64bit yesterday along with IE8 and since i woke up after my night shift last night every time i go to forums.overclockers.co.uk i get redirected to registrytoolkit .com.

is this a software/malware/spyware doing this as nothing is mentioned on the forum about a site problem.

i know this isnt a computer help forum but if anyone knows why can you please advise or direct me to somewhere where i can get the fix please

Check you local host file, you've probably got an entry in there.

nslookup forums.overclockers.co.uk in a dos box and tell us what you get.
 
thanks randal but im not to sure to do what your saying.

ive looked in my registry and im not to sure but the host file seems to remain ok

ive been on kloth.net on nslookup and got the following:
DNS server handling your query: localhost
DNS server's address: 127.0.0.1#53

its strange as so far its only the forum part on here that i cant access direct, i can if i visit overclockers.co.uk first then click the forum link
