I have a pc with window Vista Business, and one with Windows 7. I am trying to use the Windows 7 machine as a server - which I access via remote desktop.
Everything is connected to my D-Link router wirelessly. While each PC can connect to the other and see shared folders, etc, I can unable to access IIS between either machine. After having trouble connecting to IIS on Windows 7, I enabled it on the Vista machine to access from the Win 7 machine to test it, but the same issue exists.
I have the same problem when I connect them via cables.
Though, I can access IIS locally on either machine....
When I run the diagnostic offered to me on the Win 7 machine I get:
Just don't know where the issue lies. Any suggestion?

The remote computer isn’t responding to connections on port 80, possibly due to firewall or security policy settings, or because it might be temporarily unavailable. Windows couldn’t find any problems with the firewall on your computer.
