Hi. I;ve got a Netgear router whch i want to use just for its adsl modem, and a linksys wrt54g with dd-wrt which i want to use as the router.

internet works with both nats enabled, but i'm having trouble port forwarding, and someone said that the netgear may be blocking certain ports because its nat is enabled. but if i disable nat in the netgear, i get no internet.

the linksys is set to "gateway" mode which enabled nat (according to the manual) and hte netgear doesn't have a bridge mode i can use.

anyone know anything about nats?
