Can't access MSI Z97M Bios

Guy's, I'm trying to access the bios using the delete key (as per the manual) and it's not working. Due to the awesome components specced for me on these forums machine boots into 8.1 in seconds. Is there an alternative way to access the BIOS or is this the only way?

I've read some boards offer a "Fast boot" mode which needs disabling to allow access to BIOS, is the Z97M a board that may have this feature?

Wanting to overclock the 4790K and don't want to use the "OC" button on the motherboard.

From Windows, when you go to restart hold down the Shift key. You should get an option to restart into the UEFI settings from there.
