Cant access shared folders

Hi guys I have windows 7 64bit on my main pc and windows xp 32bit on my netbook, On my netbook I cant access files that ive shared on my pc can anyone help?

This should be in the Windows section really.

As for the issue, on Windows 7 go to Control Panel > Network and Sharing Centre and check that you have sharing switched on [there is a link on the left - Advanced sharing settings].

the default workgroup for xp and w7 is different, mshome and workgroup from memory, they need to the same, reccomend changung the xp machine

OP can you give a bit more detail on what is happening on the netbook i.e. can it not see the other PC, the shares, the files or maybe it is asking for credentials?
