Can't Access Wireless Network

Hi,

Bought a Micronet SP906GK Wireless PC card the other day. Tried to install the drivers on my Vista O/S but the disc said the drivers supported XP/ME/2000 only (didn't say this on the box when I bought it!) Used Windows XP compatibility mode and drivers installed. Card has detected network but says I have local access only. There are two laptops using the network and they work fine and I've tried rebooting the modem and router but still no luck. Does anyone have any other ideas I could try please?

Thanks

Had a look at the website and downloaded the latest drivers but again no Vista support. The box didn't say which OS's were supported so I assumed Vista support was a given.

Assuming is dangerous. I suggest you contact the manufacture to see if there is a Vista driver available somewhere, otherwise you might have to take it back and replace it for a Vista compatible one.

Try this one: http://www.micronet.info/up_images/driver/350/Driver and Utility 2008.zip
