For the past few weeks, every time I connect my iPod to the computer (it's one of the touch wheel + 4 touch buttons ones), iTunes recognises it, it comes up with a little symbol saying it's synchronising (which is odd, because I set it manually do tracks), and then all seems well.
I can delete tracks off it, but as soon as I try to add anything to it, iTunes locks up, and eventually tells me that the iPod is not available, at which point the iPod proceeds to lock up, and needs a reset.
I've googled, but to no avail, and I think the problem is linked to iTunes 7.
I'd prefer not to switch to winamp, because I've used it in the past, and don't like it.
Any help would be much appreciated.
