Hi,

I've got a 9800pro running off the Cat 6.2 drivers. I need to drop the clockspeed a bit on the card as it is generating artifacts (even in desktop!).

I've downloaded RadClocker, RadLinker and Rage3dtweak, but none of them seem to be working properly (eg there's no option in CCC to drop the clockspeed). There's no sign of the supposed builty in "overdrive" thing in CCC either.

How can I drop the clockspeed

Errmmm....that shouldn't really happen on stock?
True, the card is kind of b0rked. I was using it about a year ago, and underclocked it worked ok. I upgraded to a 6800LE, but I've recently moved house and the PC is now hooked up to a TV instead of a monitor. The 6800LE won't connect to a TV via component, so I've gone back to using the Radeon. I seem to remember using the Omega drivers to underclock it last time, should I just go back to using those?

On a related note, if I was to sell the 6800LE and buy a new card that could connect to a TV via component, which one should I get? (I think I heard somewhere that 6600GTs are good for that)

(note - my TV is a Panasonic Viera and only takes SCART and component inputs)
