Cant adjust CPU ratio

Hi,

I am trying to overclock my i5-4670K with my MSI Z97M Gaming motherboard. Every time I adjust it higher than 38 it just goes back to 38 - I can set it lower than 38 though. I then tried changing the base clock to 105 but it came up with overclock values failed on reboot. Any ideas?

Have you got the latest bios release of not try updating first to see if it resolves the issue

Updated earlier to try and fix but still the same issue.

Try resetting the bios to factory default if that doesn't work it looks as if you might have a locked cpu

It is an unlocked K series processor though? Any other suggestions anyone?

tried reflashing the bios? or any newer bios's?

The only other thing I can say is try it on another board of it doesn't work RMA it
