Can't believe I have to sneak into pubs again

Sure when we were all 16 we used to sneak into pubs and stuff but I never thought I'd have to start doing it again now I'm 20 lol, seems all the pubs round here have decided to enforce an over 21 policy so I now have to sneak in through the fire exits lol. Anyone else found this in their areas, its only really started happening in the last couple of weeks or so around here.

Yeah loads of off licences and stuff say they ID people under 21, which is fair enough but the pubs have decided thats the new drinking age

I've had too many arguments with bar staff when I've asked for a coke and they've asked me for ID, I'm like 'it's a coke mate', then they say 'pub is over 18', to which my reply is 'how come you have a family area then', I don't need to argue because I could easily get my driving licence out but its far less hassle to argue with them

Think most places round here are over 21 now though because of the amount of Chavs and it'll probably help underage drinking too but then they could just ID people like they're meant to.

I've got no problem with being ID'd as I know the pubs have to cover themselves, I'm just annoyed because I'm not allowed to drink in pubs that are on my doorstep anymore because you have to be over 21

Na that's not the case here, the bouncers say it's over 21 and there is a big sign on the door of the pubs saying new policy is over 21 only, really winds me up
