If the Control Deck can be used in combination with other wheel brands, Saitek should sell them alone, I'm sure many sim racers would consider them as a nice accessory.

This was what I wanted to list. Got sent the full package by accident from the distributor. When life gives you lemons.... plant a lemon orchard and use the Saitek farming simulator controller to efficiently harvest said lemons....

Looking at the prices for their flight sim stuff that's actually not a bad price for that lot. I am sure it could be adapted for other sims/driving games as well.

Hi Guys,

I was responsible for Nagging Nik to bring these in. I have to admit that I am a Farming Sim player. I own the controller and I have to say it completely changes the game play.

For anyone who has played any of the FS games, you will be well aware of the amount keys/key combinations (when using Mods) that the game requires. Having the control deck makes this infinitely easier.

The stick on the control deck makes using front loaders/forestry equipment a joy rather than a test of patience.

The Wheel and Pedals themselves work well, The wheel doesn't have force feedback but there is some resistance to its motion, it also has a ball on the wheel so you can get to full lock quite quickly. The bonus of not having force feedback, is that in reality the power steering on tractors is generally very light without much feeling, not like in cars, or at least that has been my experience in the tractors I have driven (some old beat up david brown's :p)

The Pedals are basic but work exactly as expected, I don't use them vastly due to the control decks ability to set cruise control speeds easily, The jog dial next to the stick allows you to fine tune speeds which does come in very handy when harvesting.

Combine this with the Vive and the smell of freshly cut grass, and you've got yourself a real farming sim :p :D

Despite already owning a wheel (seriously el-cheapo 360 one), I'm quite tempted. I'll admit that, yes I'm a virtual farmer, but I can see the side console being a massive bonus for games like ETS, ATS and train sim where you have a whole raft of controls.

I was dubious when I first got one, the reviews I had seem on Youtube were ok but didn't really focus on how it enriches the game play.

Having the control deck makes the game play much more enjoyable and the buttons are considerably easier to remember than the keys that are normally used.

They're all coming out of the woodwork now XD
