cant boot from cd

i have been trying to install vista (64bit) and have been having a load of problems. now i cant seem to boot from the cd, i have changed the boot sequence in the bios and comes up with the option to boot from cd and press any key etc but when i do it doesnt seem to recognise my keyboard. but works fine in bios and everywhere else. and has also worked before. just stoppped doing it now....

help?

USB Keyboard? Is Legacy USB support enabled in the BIOS?

yup all enabled in bios tres bizzare. as it was working alright before

Not the answer you're looking for - but I had the same issue.
Ended up just running the CD and the deleting the old Vista installation manually.

My hard drive gave in a couple of days ago and I need to install again.
My Keyboard is enabled in BIOS - but I have never been able to boot off a CD.

Will post here to let you know my findings mate.

That has also solved my problems. I know it ain't ideal.
