cant boot from dvd

Hi guys,

I want to format my PC. I have done the process 100x so no beginner. I've put the windows 7 DVD in and rebooted. It just went straight to desktop with no prompt to boot from DVD. I thought hmmm odd, so first things first I booted to bios and made sure the boot order was CD drive first, which it was. So I booted again and still no prompt.

Any idea? With the PC loaded the PC can see the drive fine and it reads the disk fine :confused:

It just says CD drive

Its not connected via sata, its IDE :mad:

I'll give it a go tomorrow, strangely it booted fine from a windows xp CD the other day.
