Hello all,

Just built a new PC. Had trouble getting into BIOS at first, was slightly temperamental. However, now I've installed windows and unlocked my AMD 555 to a Quad-Core, no matter how slow or fast I press delete, it won't go into BIOS. Just completely ignore me, and carry on booting windows. Very annoying. Motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-870A-UD3.

Any ideas? Thank you.

Make sure you're using a USB port on the actual motherboard. Try getting into the bios by mashing delete after a reboot and not a cold boot.
A PS/2 KB would work obviously but a different make of USB KB might also do the trick.

Definitely sounds like legacy USB not being enabled. Get a PS/2 adaptor for the keyboard, you might as well use the port for something, nothing else will go in there!
