Can't cast to new LG Nanocell TV?

I bought a new TV recently and would like to cast to it. but when I press Cast in Chrome it says "no devices found"

I believe there is an LG app for the phone that can cast but I would really like to cast from my Windows laptop.

This TV seems to have a lot of features, seems weird it doesn't work.

Can anyone please help?

I don't believe LG support casting, my OLED certainly doesn't. You can cast YouTube to it using the app but no other apps or anything. You'll need a Chromecast.
