Hello,

I have MSi gd65 and want to overclock my i5 4670k. I can't seem to change the cpu ratio in the bios. Can anyone help.

Select it by clicking (or scrolling till it's highlighted), then manually type the new ratio and hit Enter.

Yeah You use the - + to change the values but on mine the cpu ratio us faded out and i cant do anything with it. I have seen others use these options with the i5 4670k tho. Hope my motherboard is not a dud :(

Gigabyte bios have options to enable/disable overclocking ect in a seperate part of the bios

Maybe worth having a look incase MSi boards have a similar option you have missed?

I don't use + -, it's entered manually. However, if you can't do it that way either, are you sure that OC Genie is turned off?

Hey i got it. for some reason once i installed intel extreme tuning it seems to let me change the ratio now. Also yes OC genie was off. Thanks a lot for the help guys :)
