So I want to change the router IP from 192.168.1.254 to 192.168.0.1.

I went to Settings -> LAN -> Private Network -> DHCP Configuration -> Configure Manually

and used...

Router IP - 192.168.0.1
Subnet Mask - 255.255.255.0
Start DHCP Range - 192.168.0.2
End DHCP Range - 192.168.0.254

Forgive me, I'm going by memory here (the router is at a different site) and I'm never entirely sure what to set for the DHCP range.

Anyway, this is something I've done before without a problem. But this time when I hit Save, the page just hangs and I find I can neither ping 192.168.1.254 or 192.168.0.1 and I have to do a factory reset and try again always with the same result.

are you pinging from a pc that's still on the 192.168.0.x range? if you are then it has nothing to route to the new range once the router ip changes. Try doing an ipconfig release & renew to force the pc to get an address in the new dhcp range.

Yes I am but the PC does fall in the new DHCP range. Still I'll give it a bash. Thanks.
