HI, I recently bought the aoc ag352ucg ( http://eu.aoc.com/en/gaming/products/ag352ucg ) few days ago and I still cant get it to run at 100hz. I am using the DP cable that came with in the box. Currently using gtx 970. My gpu is upto date and I have also tried updating the driver for monitor from the cd that came in the box. I try changing the refresh rate to 100 or even 85 and the screen goes black for a few seconds and turns back on but stays at 60hz. I dont want to be stuck with 60hz when I paid extra for the 100hz. Please help ! Thankss

Edit : I would also like to know if anyone of you have this monitor and know a good setting for it. Atm the colour looks all funky. Thanks

I had this, when I swapped to a DP cable from a DVI cable recently. Hopefully it's the same issue you are having. There is a separate section further down the resolution list that says PC, clicking the resolution in this section allows you to select the higher refresh rate from the other drop down box.

Hopefully that's it!

Hey, I dont understand where you mean by PC. I tried changing the refresh rate through Control Panel/ Appearance and personalisation / Display / Screen resolution then on advanced setting / Monitor ( can see the refresh rates in a drop down list ) but its still not working. Is there another way to try and change the refresh rate ? Or is there such a thing as bad/old dp cable which doesn't support more than 60hz ? Im confused

In the resolution section of the nvidia control panel - mine says at the top ULTRA HD, HD, SD and under this a bunch of resolutions - top one being 1080p, 1920 x 1080 (native), followed by a load others down the list. If I pick this one the refresh rate section never allows me to pick anything over 60hz, and always switches back to 60 hz.

At the bottom of that list is another section: PC, and the top resolution for me is the one I run 1920x1080. This one allows the higher refresh to be selected.

Sorry I am full of the cold, and it's been a while since I posted piccies in this forum -iirc I have to hotlink an image site. I'll do that if needed.

I found it but I only have 1 section called PC. I dont have ultra hd, hd and so on and the 1st resolution under PC 3440 x 1440 ( Native ) which is at 60hz. Below it is 2560 x 1440 and so on. I have tried changing in both the 3440 x 1440 ( native ) and the 2560 x 1440. The result is still the same. Screen goes black and shows no signal then turns back on at 60hz. :( I probably just got unlucky and got a broken monitor or something

Im also using the latest Nvidia control panel. I think its different because we have different gpu or windows ? still scratching my head as to why i cant go above 60hz... i have sent the manufacturer an email, hopefully they reply soon ! thanks for the colour btw, looks much better !

I have this monitor and to enable 100hz I did the following after a recent OS re-install

Download Nvidia drivers and install
Download Monitor driver from AOC and install
Go to display settings > Display adapter properties and enable 100hz
Go to Nvidia control panel and enable g-sync (make sure to select gaming and desktop) then click apply
Go to manage 3d settings in Nv control panel and under v-sync turn it on ( my 1080 pushes above 100FPS).
All done.

Also go here for settings etc http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/articles/icc_profiles.htm#the_database
