Just replaced a faulty 2600k cpu with a 3570k cpu on a p67a ud7 b3 motherboard.....and seems i cant change the multi in the bios :(

Seems its a bios problem with the ivybridge chips....any work around ?

I know mb is 30 months old but surely i can oc with it still with new cpu? :(

yes i know i should have done my homework first :(

mb was good for clocking the 2600k to 5.5Ghz but now stuck at stock :(

(killed the 2600k with too much voltage....unstable at any setting/voltage and wont get past post/bios now)

cheers in advance

Cheers for quick reply but thats just the latest bios from the site that i was already using :(
No uefi bios out for my mb...or is there an un offical one somewhere?

Gutted if i cant oc with this cpu...though after killing the 2600k it may not be a bad thing.....just a waste of a £300 (2.5 years ago) mb to run at stock

bad news im afraid, there's no uefi bios for that board:eek:

idk what to suggest other than pickup a cheap z77 board

Cheers for the replies guys.....:(
Got a cheapy z68 mb sitting here but wasnt really wanting to retire a top end p67 mb just yet :(
Prob best option is to bite bullet and get a 2nd hand sandy i5 for it instead.

cheers :)
