Hi all,

Im having problems connecting wirelessly with my laptop. I can find the connection fine (which is strong) I can even connect. But when i click intenet explorer I just get the 'this page cannot be displayed' :)

I can connect via cable no probs.

I have tried disabling all other network adapters with no luck.

Any advice appriciated.

When you connect via wireless, are you sure you are connected properly? Do you get any messages along the lines of 'Limited or no connectivity'?

If you are sure you are connected properly try this.

1. Connect via the cable and make sure you can defiantly access the internet.
2. If you can connect click on start then run.
3. Type "ipconfig" and press enter.
4. Make a note of the details in there. Specifically the ip address your ethernet adapter has been assigned and the default gateway.

Next

Disconnect the cable and connect up via wireless.
Repeat steps 2 + 3. Obviously this time making a note of the wireless adapter details.

Compare the two. They should be pretty similar.

They should be something like.

Default gateway. 192.168.1.1
ip address 192.168.1.11

If you find the wireless details are not consistent with the ethernet details there is an issue somewhere.
