Can't connect to itunes on wifi

An odd one, on none of our devices. ipad 1,3,4 or iphone 4s or 5s can we connect to itunes or the app store for updates via wifi. It's been fine on all devices for ages. I can surf fine on all devices on wifi and install updates by teathering through my 3g.

Anyone had this? Am I missing something obvious?

I will check it at work tomorrow on a different wifi.

Apps update on the wifi at work. At home they still will not, although in app purchases work. I have reset my router, left it unplugged and re-powered and still cannot update or use itunes on a device.
