Can't connect to live

Every so often for some reason I can't connect to Xbox live using wireless. It can connect to the network but every so often it can't ge an ip address. Does anyone have any idea why this happens?

What is assigning your Xbox an IP address? Are you using a dedicated router (if so, what model), or are you using a shared connection from a PC?

The router (Linksys WRT45G) is handling everything. But I can't see any options in the router config that tells me which machine has been assigned what ip and there is nowhere I could change it. I'm using the DD-WRT config if it helps.

i get it sometimes,,it drove me nuts for a while, i just shut down my pc, now, when i use the 360
