Cant Connect to netgear gd834gt

I changed my router and now i cant connect my laptop to the router
the router is a netgear DG834GT with DG Team firmware,
i have security set to WPA2-PSK(Wi-Fi Protected Access 2 with Pre-Shared Key)
also enabled Wireless Access Point and Allow Broadcast of Name (SSID)

the laptop is using a netgear WG511v2 pcmcia card and it see's my dg834 but fails to connect i have put correct key in ect and have set security to same as router still no joy

i have tryed connecting via the netgear software also tryed useing windows set up also

any help on this guys ?

You could try connecting to the router by a network cable and logging in to check the settings. It may be that the router is set up to only allow certain MAC addresses to connect to the network, in which case you need to either turn it off, or add the MAC address of your laptop to allow it to connect.
