Can't connect to wireless network

Hey all

I'm in amsterdam at the moment, and the hotel has got free internet access. My girlfriend brought allong her laptop so i'm just trying to connect to the hotel wireless.

I've guessed the WEP code, and i'm connected. But it says theres limited or no connectivity, even though i have a medium-high signal.

Any idea's why it wont work? Something obvious i've missed out?

Probably not running DHCP server. Try 192.168.1.xxx where xxx is your room number

I've checked this pc and it's using the 10.0.0.x format. But in the cmd prompt i typed ipconfig /all and it said my ip that it assigned me was something completely different, even though the gateway was 10.0.0.138.

I assigned a static ip and it connected, but still nothing works.
