Can't connect to wireless network

I changed my router recently from an ancient US Robotics to a DG834GT. I've got an annoying problem now though. Roughly 50% of the time I turn my PC on, I get the 'This network has limited or no internet connectivity' message.

If I reboot the router then my PC connects straight away. The other PC in the house is connected wired and has no problems, even when I can't connect it can browse the web fine. I tried doing the windows repair and ipconfig /release & renew but no luck. I can't even ping the router when I get the message.

I'm assuming it's an issue with the router rather than my PC as the reboot fixes it instantly.

Any ideas how I can fix this? I thought about updating the firmware but was wondering if there was anything simpler? (Current firmware version is V1.03.22)

Thanks for any help.

When you do an Ipconfig cmd, what is your ip?
is it a 169 or a 192?
check the WiFi Settings of the router, IE, what band, chan, speeds and encryption, try it unsecured for a short period to see if you can connect.

Flash the FW to the latest version as mentioned above.

Not sure as it was ok when I got back from work today. I've updated the firmware to the newest one so hopefully that will fix it. If not I'll check the IP address next time it breaks!

Thanks for the help
