Can't decide between 2 specs, help me choose.

I am building a new pc in 2 weeks with a friend which will be purely for gaming/movies and wish to play at 1920x1200 res max settings in games and can't decide between these 2 specs:

I am aware that there isn't much difference between the cpus for gaming but i was wondering how much difference is there between the memory and motherboards in performance/quality? i want the pc to be real stable and very solid for games.

Ideally i want the pc to be around £800-850(might be able to do £900).

Anyone got any views?

1st but with a 790fx motherboard and a wd caviar black hdd also an after market cooler, unless you're not planning to overclock. If needed get 2x4870 to save some money, or cheaper psu.

for gaming, the first one, though Id change the HDD to a WD Caviar Black

That psu would handle the crossfire 4890s fine i presume? seems to be very good from what i've read/heard.

yep and yep. Not a lot better but certainly better.

Agree that a 790FX board would be better if you end up crossfiring, or intend to in the future (790GX supports only one PCI-e @ x16, or two @ x8).
