My choices are varied, and sit at different price points but I just can't seem to pull the trigger on any of them.

Dell G5 - 8th gen i7, 16g, 1060mq, 256/1T, £1200 w/ 3y onsite (discounted through company) - cons, heavy, screen is supposedly a bit pants, but is easy to replace for £80 if it's that much of an issue, long lead time from Dell, est delivery date ~9/10 if ordered today

Refurb Aero15x - 7th gen i7, 16g, 1070mq, 512G, £1699 w/ 1y warranty - cons, 7th gen chip, 1y warranty

Lenovo Legion Y530 - 8th gen i7, 16g, 1060, 256/1T, unknown prices as not yet released ~£1400, supposedly some time this month - cons, not yet released, mediocre battery life

Razer Blade 15 - 8th gen i7, 16g, 1060, 256, £1699 - cons, possible heat issues, out of stock everywhere which offers finance

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme - 8th gen i7, 16g, 1050ti, 256, £1685 - cons, only a 1050ti, which is apparently quite a bit worse than the 1060mq

Aside from this selection, I'm open to suggestions, my criteria is it should have enough grunt to last playing latest vidya for ~3y (but mainly WoW), available via paypal finance, not too hot, not too heavy, alright battery life - enough for me to VPN in and fix stuff if it's my laptop of choice for that day (I also have a ThinkPad X240 which is my current walking around laptop) and most importantly not gaudy af with flashy lights everywhere.
