Cant decide on CPU cooler

I would have gone for the tuniq tower but they have increased the price by over £20 so i think il give that a pass now, how does the Asus Silent Knight 2 compare, and what other coolers are recomended? (This will be for a Q9550, which i plan on overclocking as much as possible)

I looked at some reviews and it looks good, performs basically the same as a tuniq tower, will it fit on a Maximus II Formula though?

Or an OCZ Vendetta 2, if you prefer pushpins.

would have been nice if they had used a 1/2 decent fan in the review tho the TRUE to some extent needs a fan that will produce some static pressure due to the fin density..

Sharkoon s2000 or scythe s flex are very good fans for the TRUE. unfortunately i cant afford fans as good as that at the mo so my TRUE is currently covered by two arctic cooling 12025 pwm fans in push pull, cheap and cheerful but noisy buggers

I have a AC 120125 running mine and it's not loud at all. PWM fans are still rather limited mind.

My arctics are rated at 400-1500 rpm, my quad is clocked at 3.4ghz and at idle the two cpu fans run at a nice 1000 rpm, thankfully they only kick in to full speed when im benching or running prime 95 etc. when im gaming i stick with headphones
