I have picked up ModernWar2, Borderlands and Dragon last week and don't know what to play !!!

Got up to redcliffe in dao and then i got borderlands and got to the mine and now mw2 arrived today

loving gaming at then moment !

MW2 is 4-5 hours long, so you can knock that out in one good session. It's very 'Michael Bay' though, was very disappointed, even the oh-so-controversial-fake-hype-machine Airport Scene was just...numb? Expected to be shocked but it's quite dull.

Dragon Age is by far the best game in that list but I do love Borderlands in co-op, have a gander at the thread and organise a time to do some, play DA in between.

I'd play through DAO, then Borderlands, and leave MW2 for when you have a spare hour or so and just want to kill things online.

borderlands is what fallout 3 should have been atmosphere is immense

I disagree, Fallout 3 is epic and offers much more single player replayability. There's not even proper trading in Borderlands, the graphics are dire and there's absolutely no reason to switch guns throughout the entire story. Not to mention the fact it rips fallout 3 off with a couple of things. We've got a protagonist searching for a "vault" amid a "wasteland" full of "raider" style adversaries. Toward the end, advanced armored troops show up, the Crimson Lance, who have their own "Enclave" and advanced technology. Not to mention you use a personal device in the game as well, aka pipboy 3000. It just borrows a little bit too much for my liking, but if you enjoy the game then that's all that matters.

fallout3 i found was boring as hell just didn't click with it at all, i like borderlands looks different, and i think that you are looking for a vault pays homage to fo1 and fo2 more than coping fo3.

As long as you enjoy it then that's the main thing. :)

I'm sure there are games that I love which you think are pants but at the end of the day it's all down to preference.

I did like Fallout 3 rather a lot but having played it to death plus almost all the expansion packs. Borderlands seems albeit similar but allows the player to indulge from a different angle, a little less intense in some respects and I dunno, just easier to jump in and play which is welcome atm.

I love Fallout 3 the setting and atmosphere is second to none. The graphics just put me off Borderlands - they look like they were drawn by a 2 year old and that, for me, would ruin the atmosphere. Fallout 3 was so much better than I expected - and definately deserves the plaudits it's received.

This is what a friend of mine said about Zelda: Wind Waker when it came out. He was duly punished, and now accepts that he was wrong. It's his second favourite in the series now.

Well I know it won't happen to me. It was the same with Prince of Persia and Street Fighter 4 - all looked horrendous. Played SF4 once and then dumped it. It's something you'll either like or hate - as I said, it looks like a child has drawn it and much prefer the realistic view of Fallout 3.

That's what put me off to begin with along with the arcade style such as loot springing from vanquished enemies but after having bought the game I can honestly say I love it.
