Hi, it's my birthday on the 20th and i'm looking to upgrade from my old 22" HP monitor to something a little larger and generally more pleasing to the eye.
Only problem is i'm looking to pick up the monitor tomorrow from OCHQ and I can't decide at all which monitor to buy so i'm looking for a little advice as I don't have much experience when it comes down to the specs of monitors.
My Requirements;
• I'm looking to pay £350 at the very maximum
• Right now I have a single GTX 580, so it must be compatible
• It must be between 25"-30" as i'm looking for something bigger than my current setup
• 3D really isn't a priority for me so it doesn't have to have this feature, but if it does, it's not a problem
• This will be a single monitor setup, used daily for gaming/films and general usage
• I don't really mind about what kind of finish the screen has (Glossy/Matte) as i'm used to having the blinds closed in my room when i'm at my PC anyway
• On board speakers, I probably won't even use them, as long as i'm able to turn them off it won't be a problem if the monitor has them
