I have deleted a contact from my iPhone4, currently running iOS6, which removes it from my list of contacts and if I search for the contact it doesn't appear anywhere.
However, if I go to composes a new message and click the add button and type in the first few letters of the name it appears in the list? If you click on it it only puts the number in the "To:" box rather than the name of someone who is in your contacts.
Any ideas how I can get shot of this? Is there a cache somewhere perhaps? I've logged into iCloud via a web browser and the contact isnt there.
I do have an Exchange account set up and it seems from a quick google seach that Exchange can cause some problems with iPhone contacts but this rogue contact definitely isn't in my exchange contacts on my PC.
Any help appreciated thanks.
