Can't delete file

I'm trying to delete this folder C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\uguru.inf_amd64_neutral_8de494543c3a5038 as I'm getting BSODs due to uguru.sys even though it's no longer installed but I'm getting a message saying that I need permission. Most programs you can just right click and choose 'run as administator' but I can't do that here so how can I delete it?

Tried that, the readme says that you should be able to right click the folder and select Unlocker but there's no such option

The driverstore probably isn't quite like other folders, similar to the Windows GAC in c:\windows\assembly. Try in safemode, if not, you might have to try booting from a boot disk and doing it through there.

Safe mode didn't work, what do you mean about doing it from a boot disk Moredhel, do you mean from DOS?

HiJackThis and Killbox didn't work but I managed to get rid of the offending file eventually after a good fiddle with the permissions, thanks all
