Can't enable DSR on new GTX970

As title. Its probably down to me and not the card or drivers, but everytime I try and select a resolution from the DSR drop down box, it won't ebale and stays showing "off"
Any pointers on this would be nice, I've been used to AMD drivers for yonks and I'm on a bit of a learning curve here with nvidia drivers.

what about TVs ? for the moment i dont have a monitor but a 50 inch Panasonic 1080p Plasma, when i run DSR everything looks scrunched up and horrible

Well going by that table illustrated it appears that my monitor can use DSR, but no matter what I do, it still remains off. Is there anything else in the control panel that I have to turn on/off, adjust, enable/ disable, etc to get DSR to work?

Are you running duplicate displays?

I've noticed that when running duplicate, only the primary display will allow DSR. Also switching to just one display using 'Win Key + P' will allow DSR to be enabled.

garyfl, have you checked the overscan / underscan settings on your video card software?

I'm also running on a Panasonic plasma with 1080p Pure Direct enabled and it looks spot on, but on my previous panel I had to adjust the overscan settings.

Thats the problem, I can't enable DSR in the control panel. When I try to select any of the resolution options in the drop down pane, it always stays showing off. I'm pretty sure I have to do something else to allow me to enable DSR, but I don't know what it is.

No, that's pretty much all you should have to do mate then hit apply at the bottom. Then you just select the higher res in the game options.

Could be a dodgy install. I'd consider removing using Display Driver Uninstaller, and install again.
