Can’t find any ports to plug in old hard drives

I have a couple of hard drives with all my old computer videos/ games/ edits etc
Saved on it. I really need to get them onto my new pc but can’t find any ways to connect them. I can connect to the sata cable but nothing else. I can’t find any way to connect it to give it power annoyingly.

I had old machines made at overclockers and they came with a bundle of spare wires inside the machine. This one hasn’t for some annoying reason.

Is this a common thing with new computers from overclockers?

Do you not have anything bundled with the PC? No boxes? If you have a modular PSU, they might be wrapped up somewhere.

What's the case? They could also be cable tied behind the motherboard, between the panel and the tray.

I cut lose all the wires behind the motherboard and everything seems to be used unfortunately.

If you have an old psu you could always 'jump start it' and just use it to power the hard drives.

In that first picture I see a 4 pin white Molex connector hanging out the front of the case? Where does that go to? It looks like it goes in and up to the fans?
If you literally have no connectors spare then you need to buy a cable which basically plugs into one of your molexes, extends it so that it keeps on going, but also spurs out a new connector as well. Like this 1 to 2 extender:

That was just one I had from my old computer I was just putting it in my pc hoping for a fit.

Do you still have your old PC? If so, link the two with an ethernet cable via your internet router, fire it up, and copy over the files over the network.

External enclosure (usb) 3.5". Should be able to get one for £20-£30

It’s just damn annoying I spent all this money on a new computer and it’s the first one I have ever gotten that didn’t come with extra wires for hard drive transfers

So it's lack of power connectors that are the issue?

I've actually just paid out for something like this which is actually a cheaper option than an enclosure (and has capability to access 2.5" sata and even old IDE drives, which is why I have bought one)

Nah it works (has worked) fine for I what I need it for on other pcs for editing jobs etc
