Not sure where this should go but here seems as good a place as anywhere.
I have a DLink DNS-323 NAS box which runs on Linux (see the link
) which I am trying to get uStream running on (there have been a number of reported successes).
I have uStream installed but on startup it complains that it cannot find egiga0 (Gigabit network port driver).
ifconfig reports egiga0 is set and I can telent in to the NAS so the port must be working but there is no driver file in the /dev directory.
As it has been around 9 years since I played with Linux I have not idea how the system has developed and if not having the /dev/egiga0 file is entirely normal.
Any suggestions
