Hi
I am getting a Asrock H77m Socket 1155 Vga Dvi Hdmi 7.1 Channel Audio Matx Motherboard and cant find good ram or processor that goes with it.
My processor budget is £100
My 8gb ram budget is £30
As much help as possible will be appreciated.
This is the ram i have been looking at but it does not come up in the list of supported ram for the motherboard. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-094-KS
Thanks
Jeremy

Ok then
Just wondering is there any that you are certain work with it.
I just dont want to go through all of the hassle of getting it sent back if it does not work as i need it built fairly soon.
If not i will just have to go for that.

any DDR3 should work fine mate been building a while and had no problems at all with any of my memory from DDR DDR2 DDR3 and i have never looked at the spec list neither

yes i have built a fair few systen in the past few years and the (recomended ram is a joke) as long as your MB can use that kind of ram it will work.

my system is using 2100mhz ram and yet the manule says 1600mhz i have it clocket to around 1880, and get much beter benth scores than peeps wit hthe 1600.

if its cheap get the fastes worst can hapen is you bord win clock it down.

Yeah dont worry about RAM Compatibility, I bought some ram that claimed they were for Intel Systems only, yet I have them running in my AMD system, and managed to overclock them too.

If its DDR3, 1.5v and your motherboard says it supports the speed (1600, 1886, 2100oc) then it should work.

Just always try to run matching modules. And dont do what a freind of mine had done. He bought 2100Mhz 4Gb modules in a pair, then because he had an extra 1Gb laying around added that too. The 1Gb was only 1333Mhz, defaulting his 2100Mhz down to 1333Mhz.

Run matched!
