Just got my GA-P35-DQ6 running and come to set the memory timings and i cant find them any where, surely they should be with the voltages and fsb speed. Help please.

i think the mem timings are under a different section of the bios, go to main screen and just look around.

probs under advanced settings or something similar

edit - Got an option in the bios for advanced chipset ?? under that i think

yeah can't find mine either p35c-ds3r looks like a similar bios, they must be in there somewhere?

I had the same trouble too, but you only need to press Ctr+ F1 on the OPENING BIOS Screen, then go to MI tweaker screen and the mem timings will be there. :)

that worked for me thanks :)

is there anywhere in the bios that shows memory voltage?

Thats exactly what i was thinking, i cant get my memory running at 4-3-3-10 it keeps putting it back to 5-5-5-18. Wondering if its the voltage but no idea what its at.

you did'nt hit "quit without saving" by accident? sorry but that's all i can think of.

well i managed to change my 4x1gig (spd 5-5-5-18) of geil 6400 ull to 4-4-4-12 and just testing it without changing the mobo default voltage (easytune5 says its at 1.9v) it's passed memtest upto test7 (got bored waiting) and it's just done 30mins orthos blend test. seems this mobo is great with ram :D

when i changed the cas from 5 to 4 the pc powered down for about 1 sec then started up keeping the settings, weird, has'nt done it since, wonder what that's about?

If you change a setting and it doesnt like it, it will power down and change the setting back and try booting again. Its got my mem voltage at 1.85 might try at about 1.95 or 1.2 see if that will keep the timings.
