Can't find router login page

I have a number of routers (in access point mode) one of them appears to be working, at least to some degree but I cannot get into it at all. I know which one it is because the modem gives me a list of connected devices and I can see the devices Mac address together with the ip, but nothing will bring up a login page. I have tried powering it it down and logging on via RG45 ethernet direct. The other routers do appear when the IP is used and it is possible to sign into them.

Any suggestions short of resetting it, which I am loathe to do because if I can't get back into it I won't be able to use it and will be forced to buy a new one pronto!

What subnet is your main network? You cannot log into the “router” because it’s on a different subnet to your client device. It has to do this so it can have a backhaul channel. So if your client device is on 192.168.1.x then try changing your device IP address to 192.168.3.x (x bigger than 1) and see if you can access the Honor router like that by typing 192.168.3.1 into your search bar on Edge or Chrome.

Tried that it didn't work, the modem says it's on 192.168.0.23/24 with corresponding mac address but that doesn't give any result either.

And you tried it from a client on the same subnet? Generally DHCP ranges are done on a 255.255.255.0 so yiu can’t get out of whatever the third number is in the subnet. Sorry if I’m mansplaining but you’d be shocked how many people don’t understand subnetting and direct routing.

It was the laptop directly connected to the ethnet port of the router
I could access all the other routers on the system save for this one, and I also tried it remotely too.

No I haven't done that
I do have a vague recollection of it saying that the login page would no longer be available in access point mode, but it's a while since and memory being what it is and all that.

Plugging it in won’t necessarily put you on the same subnet. If the AX3 is in access point mode it won’t be running a DHCP server so your device will default to whatever private default subnet the operating system is set up for.

Just do a factory reset on the AX3 and then add it back onto the network as an access point.
