Can't find where to enter win7 promo code

Thanks for your reply but it doesn't seem the same thing i got my code from buying vista a while ago which came with a free copy of win7. Now they have sent me an email saying i can get it by clicking a link and entering a code but there is nowhere to enter the code once i've clicked the link.
 
Same problem here. I bought a copy of Vista a few months ago from the Microsoft Store, and they said that on release date I'll get a copy of 7 to download or can pay extra to have a hard copy shipped as well.

Received the email yesterday which said

"Thank you for your order of Windows Vista.
Your free* copy of Windows 7 can be redeemed using the promo code below."

The asterisk just refers to shipping costs.

There's a link in the email which takes you to the 7 section of the Microsoft Store but there's nowhere to enter your code.
 
It used to be on checkout you entered the code - not used it in a long time and don't have an upgrade voucher so can't really help much.. :(
 
Wanted to get these done for a few customers over the weekend but they will have to wait.
Does anyone know whenever we do received the free copy, will the disc be an upgrade, OEM or retail?
 
Aha sorted it :) you have to go through the checkout page and enter your credit/debit card details and on the confirmation page it has a box for the promo code :) i got me 64bit home premium full version :)
