Hi there,

Got a P5K-Pro and my quad arrived today :D

Noticed I hadn't done a BIOS update (BIOS is on 0201 atm) when playing around with quad so thought I should update it...

So I got the latest BIOS (1001) put it on a flash drive and reset the computer heading for the EZ Flash Utility.

Get in there, selected the flash drive and it just locks up saying 'Loading Directory'

I have formatted the flash drive to FAT32 and the only file on there is the ROM.

I have also tried it with another flash drive but did not format that one and it wasn't the only file.

Any ideas?

P.S. Was going to try from within Windows but only heard bad things about doing that way...

Don't be tempted to use the windows flash as it seems to cause problems for some, and now ASUS has soldered the BIOS chip on the mobo it's RMA the board if it goes bad!

What USB ports have you tried?

Proceed with care here.
